Abdelnasser Rashid is the first Palestinian American to serve in the Illinois House of Representatives. His previous positions include deputy chief of staff to Cook County Clerk David Orr, field director to mayoral candidate Jesus “Chuy” Garcia, and Illinois deputy state director to presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.

Dr. James Zogby is president of the Arab American Institute, a Washington, DC-based organization which serves as the political and policy research arm of the Arab American community, which he co-founded in 1985. He is director of Zogby Research Services, a firm that has conducted groundbreaking surveys across the Middle East.

Peter Beinart teaches national reporting and opinion writing at the Newmark J-School and political science at the CUNY Graduate Center. He is editor-at-large for Jewish Currents, an MSNBC political commentator, and a fellow at the Foundation for Middle East Peace.
