The NYC Launch Party for Ringmaster: Vince McMahon and the Unmaking of America
Even if you’ve never watched a minute of professional wrestling, you are living in Vince McMahon’s world.
Join Jewish Currents for an event celebrating the release of Abraham Josephine Riesman’s definitive biography of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Ringmaster: Vince McMahon and the Unmaking of America charts McMahon’s rise from rural poverty to the throne of one of the world’s most influential media empires—and features never-before-seen research and exclusive interviews with more than 150 people who witnessed, aided, and suffered from his ascent.
Featuring author Abraham Josephine Riesman with David Roth of Defector Media, the evening’s conversation will touch on McMahon’s four decades as the defining figure of American pro wrestling, his close relationship with Donald Trump, and more. Come for the enlivening discussion, stay for drinks and schmoozing with the Jewish Currents crowd!
