Henry Bean wrote and directed The Believer, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2001 Sundance Film Festival as well as numerous other awards. He has written screenplays for many films. He was a staff writer on K Street and The OA. His novel, The Nenoquich, won an LA PEN award in 1982 and was republished last year by McNally Jackson. His short fiction has appeared in McSweeney’s, Black Clock, and elsewhere.
