“Providence has ordained that I should be the greatest liberator of humanity. I am freeing man from the restraints of an intelligence that has taken charge, from the dirty and degrading self-mortification of a false vision called conscience and morality, and from the demands of a freedom and independence which only a very few can bear.” --Adolf Hitler
“ALTERNATIVE RIGHT,” or Alt-Right, is a term coined in 2008 by Richard Bertrand Spencer. His white supremacist think tank, the National Policy Institute, is quite earnestly determined to save Western civilization. He often calls on anti-Semites to give talks at his events. At one of these events in 2016, audience members gave the Nazi salute while Spencer declared: “Hail Trump! Hail our people! Hail victory!” Then he went on to say: “America was, until this last generation, a white country designed for ourselves and our posterity. It is our creation and our inheritance and it belongs to us.”
Consisting mostly of young white men, the Alt-Right promotes the idea that “white identity” is jeopardized by multicultural forces who use “political correctness,” the cause of so-called social justice, and an emphasis on egalitarianism and universalism to weaken white people. Yet the movement has not coalesced around a single analysis. Some blame Jews for the decline of white men; Jews, after all, are seen as promoting the “anti-white policies” of immigration, multiculturalism, and diversity. Some claim that the decline in numbers of America’s white majority is no less than “white genocide,” with immigration and “black crime” their evidence of ethnic cleansing of whites.
Greg Johnson, editor-in-chief of Counter-Currents Publishing, wrote in his article, “White Nationalism and Jewish Nationalism”: “Since we are fighting for nothing less than the biological survival of our race, and since the vast bulk of Jews oppose us, we need to err on the side of caution and have no association with Jews whatsoever. Any genuine Jewish well-wishers will understand since they know what their people are like better than we ever can.”.
“I oppose the Jewish diaspora in the United States and other white societies,” he continued. “I would like to see the white peoples of the world break the power of the Jewish diaspora and send the Jews to Israel, where they will have to learn how to be a normal nation.” He adds:
I sympathize with the Palestinians, because I too live under Zionist occupation. Second, I must also state that I admire the Palestinians, because unlike Americans and Europeans, they are fully aware that they are an occupied people. Third, and most importantly, the Palestinians are fighting against their oppressors, and I wish my people would do the same.
At the Right Stuff, an Alt-Right blog, in an essay titled “A Critical Analysis of the Jewish Identity,” Paul Town had this to say: “At the core of the JI [Jewish Identity] is a malevolent supremacy. This is manifest in their rejection of outgroups who wish to participate and innovate traditional Jewish cultural activities. Why reject diversity and progress within your community of not a false feeling of ‘betterness’? The root of this problem is, of course, a sexual feeling of inferiority. Mighty psychosexual urges must not be downplayed within group dynamics. As a remedy to this, the JI must be infiltrated with foreign members to procreate with their men and women. That way, the deep psychological psychosis can be treated at the root.”
Andrew Anglin, who heads the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer, points out that many people “believe that the Jews should be exterminated.” He speaks of his opponents as “having been chosen as leaders by the Jews media”.
Retired psychology professor Kevin MacDonald, whose writings on Jewish influence have fueled the Alt-Right movement, sympathizes with their view that “diaspora Jews have advocated very generous immigration and refugee policies in the West and the idea that Western countries have no ethnic core . . . while supporting Israel as a Jewish ethnostate. This should be infuriating to anyone who advocates White interests.” MacDonald charges “Jewish power” with playing a major part in invading Iraq and bombing Syria, and claims that Americans should be furious with Jews for helping to cause the instability that created the refugee crisis and then going on to encourage generous policies towards the refugees. He also faults Jews for advocating a path towards citizenship for illegals. On the other hand, he considers Alt-Righters to be “race realists (i.e., they accept research findings that there are real average differences between races that are important for success in the contemporary world, such as IQ and impulse control), they realize that these actions of the Jewish community have compromised legitimate White interests in creating a culture of grievance and White guilt in which the genetically based tendencies of Blacks are ignored.”
WAIT, THERE’S MORE. Through the media, according to MacDonald, Jews have championed homosexuality, premarital sex, pornography, and adultery, and “even Joe Biden,” he writes, “thinks (correctly) that Jews were behind the gay marriage movement.”
Much of this so transparently resembles Nazi ideology that the forces of the Alt-Right have been unable to gain any real mainstream footing in America outside of rightwing media and blatant white supremacist circles — until their candidate won the Presidency.
“Hope is finally making a comeback,” Richard Bertrand Spencer tweeted. “For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country.”
