Photographer Free After Three Days in Palestinian Authority Detention

Palestinian photojournalist and Activestills contributor Wahaj Bani Moufleh stands on the street on March 17th, the day after his release from Palestinian Authority (PA) detention. Bani Moufleh was arrested while documenting a March 8th funeral in Jenin for Abdulfattah Khrousheh, who was suspected of killing two Israeli settlers in February. PA forces fired tear gas and forcibly dispersed mourners during the funeral procession. “This experience only increased my strength and determination to continue my journalistic work with professionalism and love,” Bani Moufleh said.
