Two Upcoming Events!

Join us for two upcoming events! On June 5th at 6:30pm ET:

On Wednesday, June 5th at 6:30pm ET, join Jewish Currents and Middle East Eye at the People’s Forum at 320 West 37th Street, New York, NY, or join the live stream online, for a conversation about ascendant fascism in India and Israel. Azad Essa of Middle East Eye, Suchitra Vijayan of the Polis Project, and Raja Abdulhaq of Quds News Network will discuss the rise of far-right movements in the two countries; their symbiotic military and political partnership; how Hindu nationalists and Zionists are working together in the US; and the question of solidarity at a time of erasure and genocide. Moderated by Aparna Gopalan of Jewish Currents.

This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required for attendance. Livestream will also be available (registration not required).

Then join us for an online members event on June 10th at 6 pm ET:

Join us online on Monday, June 10th, for a members-only conversation hosted by Mari Cohen, featuring journalists Shane Burley and Ben Lorber talking about their new book Safety Through Solidarity: A Radical Guide to Fighting Antisemitism. We will discuss the book’s progressive and intersectional approach to antisemitism as well as Burley and Lorber’s ongoing work tracking rising antisemitism and other forms of hate.

This event is for Jewish Currents members only. In addition to our print and digital subscriptions, we now have a distinct membership program for those hungry for community, learning, and conversation. Becoming a member at any tier—Globalist, Illuminati, or Elder of Zion—gives you free access to Jewish Currents programming, as well as a range of other perks.
