A Look at the Two Court Cases Charging Israel With Genocide
TOMORROW, Tuesday, January 30th at 10am ET:
Co-sponsored by Just Vision, Institute for Middle East Understanding (IMEU), and +972 Magazine:
On Friday, January 26th, the International Court of Justice granted many of the provisional measures requested by South Africa in its genocide case against the State of Israel, but did not call for a ceasefire. On the same day, in a courtroom on the other side of the Atlantic, plaintiffs testified before a US federal court in the case Defense for Children International – Palestine v. Biden, a lawsuit charging senior Biden administration officials with complicity in the Israeli government’s genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
Join us
on Tuesday, January 30th at 10am ET to unpack both of these legal
proceedings, and to hear about the latest efforts on Capitol Hill to condition US funding to Israel.
