On Monday, July 1st at 7pm ET in NYC:
Zeteo and Jewish Currents are co-hosting the premiere of Zeteo’s first original documentary, produced by Basement Films. Israel’s Reel Extremism
journeys through Israeli society after months of mass violence in Gaza.
Through the prism of viral social media posts, and exclusive interviews
with the soldiers behind them, as well as leading figures in media and
politics, the film reveals a nation gripped by vengeance threatening the
possibility of peace.
The film will be followed by a panel discussion and audience Q&A with Mehdi Hasan, founder and editor-in-chief of Zeteo; Amira Haas, award-winning Israeli author and journalist; Najla Said, Palestinian American actress, author, and activist; and Simone Zimmerman, Jewish American activist and co-founder of IfNotNow.
Attendance is $9 for Jewish Currents
members and $30 for non-members.
