As a special offer just for Jewish Currents sustaining members and their friends and family, we are very excited to open early registration for Jewish Currents Live: A Day of Politics and Culture, at the exclusive sustaining member price of $18. General registration, for $54 per ticket, will open early next month!
Haven’t heard of our membership before? In addition to our print and digital subscriptions, we now have a membership program for those hungry for community, learning, and conversation. Becoming a sustaining member at any tier—Globalist, Illuminati, or Elder of Zion—helps support the continuing work of Jewish Currents, and comes with perks like access to exclusive member events, discounted event tickets, and Jewish Currents swag. Sustaining membership includes a print subscription. Already a subscriber? It’s easy to upgrade your subscription to a sustaining membership.
At Jewish Currents Live we’ll dig into the challenges of the moment through discussions with scholars and activists on the politics of Israel/Palestine, the future of the Jewish left, and the state of progressive American politics amid rising authoritarianism. In innovative and provocative artist performances, we’ll explore new avenues of possibility for ourselves, our communities, and our shared struggles.
Join guests including Jewish Currents editor-at-large Peter Beinart, novelist Adania Shibli, legal scholar and activist Noura Erakat, director Emma Seligman, UN rapporteur Francesca Albanese, performers Alex Tatarsky and Fargo Tbakhi, and many more.
Jewish Currents Live will take place on September 15th, all day, in-person on the campus of Brooklyn College in Brooklyn, New York. Becoming a sustaining member today gives you early access to event registration—guaranteeing your spot at all sessions as well as a members-only reception and after-party.
All ticket proceeds will be donated to Palestine Children’s Relief Fund to provide immediate aid to families in Gaza, and to Palestine Legal to support those facing political repression in the United States. Information about a virtual streaming ticket option is forthcoming.
If you are interested in volunteering at the event, or have any questions, concerns, or accessibility needs that would be helpful to plan for in advance, please reach out to solomon@jewishcurrents.org. We hope to see you there!
